I love Kup in the film. He has all the best lines.

When they see Unicron attacking Cybertron:

Hot Rod: "Doesn't this remind you of anything, Kup?"
Kup: "Nope. Never seen anything like this before."

When they're being attacked:

Kup: "This reminds me of the time..."
Hot Rod: "Every place reminds you of someplace else!"

But the best line in a Transformers cartoon ever was in the Headmasters series:

Optimus Prime: "The Decepticons are coming your way!"
Kup: "How many of them, Prime?"
Prime: "ALL of them."
