Doing something right with me is easy. Just flatter me outrageously, feed me chocolate and be willing to have long-involved debates about absolutely everything.

Just returned from a week hiking in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Amazing scenery … right out of middle-earth. And lots of whisky!

Whisky is my friend. Of course, so is vodka, and tequila, and scotch, and ...

Apparently with this girl, I gave her too nice a gift for her birthday. We had not seen each other very much, when her birthday came up, so I went and bought some Victoria's secret prefume, lotion, lipgloss and little mints, put them in a gift bag with some godiva chocolates and thought I was doing good. She loved the scent, thought the lipgloss was perfect, and liked the chocolate. It just wasn't the sort of goft I should have given her apparently.
