As for the SteamTech book, I would look at it as a magic-based sourcebook for design.

First you introduce the concepts, then the immediate game mechanics required for the concepts to work.

Then you go into chapters that detail the monsters, the items, the vehicles, etc.

To me, it should lay out just like any other thematic sourcebook like Necromancer's Legacy, or perhaps somthing like the Powers of the Jedi sourcebook, or even one of the changing breed books from White Wolf.

That's pretty much how I've already laid out my plan, hopefully it will all gel nicely while I'm writing it :)

HH, and anyone else going to GenCon Indy this year - what hotel are you staying at? Hound, I think you and Capellan will be at the same hotel, and that's the one I'm looking for, but figured I'd ask around. Does anyone know where the ENnie judges are staying?

Good plan, I would like to know as well!!!

It's a beautifil day in the neighborhood!!!!!!

I'm officially on the new computer. Still getting use to it. Old one was from 96 or 97. Many changes. Looking forward to playing with the scanner

fex, it seems that my arguments to Kale were more to the pooint if I said Blades then Wavehawks. Blades seem like the guys to fight the Good fight in the most lowdown dirty "practical"way possible. You got to love secret societies.:D

And theruinedone: Yes you !!

Yep. I think the Azure Blades may well end up with good reason to recruit the party. It'll help bring 'em into the bigger picture too :) But first they need to deal with the arcanist's tower and hopefully survive :D

They'er almost level 5 now, which'll mean some interesting developments as Burl becomes able to throw fireballs...

I have no idea actually... Denise made the reservations and is out of town.

Go through the reservation system specifically looking for a Suite instead of a room - the only affordable suites are in the hotel we are in (if they have any left).

We are paying $142 a night for our suite.

I'm not sure where the judges are sleeping, but I can find out.

woohoo fireballs.

I suspect they will need the firepower :(
I was very suprised btw that Burl was not a specialized Necromancer-wizard. Pretty cool that he is in story, and not is in Stats :)

Like they say, Great Minds Think Alike...

(and like the others say... Fools seldom differ).
