[Hivemind] My blood runs cold...

I understand leaving the introduction to last bit :) Good advice, thanks ;) Unfortunately I'll probably be hard pressed to find a product approaching the same kind of theme as the one I'll be doing, but I'll have a search...

I'm impressed. I can't imagine writing a book on an enitrely new thematic... everything I write is either a

(a) class / race book (Three Arrows for the King, Veiled Masters - The Essential Guide to Mind Flayers)
(b) general resource book with a common theme (Necromancer's Legacy, Jungles of the Mind)
(c) monster book (kid's colouring book)

In fact, I can't even think of something I could write that would not be thematically similar to at least one other book I already own...

Well, it's just that the product isn't a class/race book, it may have nwe beasties in it but it isn't a monster book, and I think it's a general resource book witha common theme, but its not a theme based on any of the common products already out, in other words it doesn't address a particular school of magic ;) I don't think there's been a sourcebook for steam technology yet :) There's been things wihich incorporate steam-tech concepts but usually just as a sub-theme...

I have friends that are still playing Starcraft on a regular basis. It never clicked with me. I liked Total Annihilation and Kingdoms, but that lasted maybe a week, just like most of my other computer gaming addictions.

well, I've just posetd that new game post, Maldur :) Unfortunately, while I had some good ideas about what to write for it yesterday, I forgot most of them so the post isn't quite how I originally wanted it to be, but its something :)
