Women in my games tend to fashionable. :D I have lots of different styles of dress I describe. Your thread on your boards about Avalanche games got me thinking about it. That, and the quest to find a miniature/image for one of my players (the one I am fond of). So far, I can't find one that fits the bill. Swashbuckling, pistol toting wizard with something of an attitude, which is inconsistent with her petite frame, and doll like beauty.

The Magdalena is the closest thing I have found.

Here she is. This should not be a problem for the boards.

The Magdalena is a comic book character from Top Cow. She is an assasin employed by the church, and a direct descendant of Mary Magdalene and Christ. She basically goes hunting vampires, demons and the like.

She used to just have some midrift showing, but the latest trend is to have her fighting demons in her panties. I'm not too fond of that. I have always liked the rose and cross details inher costume, and her use of guns. She was more "real" then. Now, she uses the spear and swords more, which loses some of the characters feel. She looks too much like the medieval witchblade character (also Top Cow).

Does Witchblade sell better? That would explain it...

yep, it does. Still doesn't make me happy.

I just think a woman can be fetching and still wear her pants, is all. :D Which is another one of my issues with Avalanches "historical" games. Apparently all women can survive in any climate, wearingonly a thing and a few other well placed straps. pheh.

I know I'm in the minority, but I really have no problems with Avalanche's covers. Sex sells... it's an old adage, so why not use it? As I said on my forums, as long as it doesn't get pornographic or nudity, I have no problem.
