I'll say this before I go off to eat food.

1) I liked the layout.

2) I liked the art in general. I was bracing myself, to be honest, because the art in soem (perhaps many) d20 products is pretty pants - for instance in the Elements of Magic, an othersise decent book, I think there are some rpetty sub-par examples of art. BUt I liked the art in the Sage.

Makes me feelhappier about writing anything for Horade since I know it'll come out at least looking good even if I write rubbish

Yup, for the art we have got the chance of getting wonderful artists (like our superb LrdApoc, who has done one of the prettiest covers I've seen in any d20 product. Shawn you are GREAT!), and also pretty pictures from long time ago dead painters (like that backcover that DG found after surfing the net for hours). DG did the graphic design, i.e. logos, topbar art and all that, and I must say she did a wonderful job too.
