I think the Merovingian and Persephone are older parts of the Matrix. Maybe they had contact with a previous One as Agent Smith did with the present One. But your idea has more pizzazz and layering.

( next week , on friday I have a short vacation(gamecon) then on the 20th of July Im going flying (gencon) So its only a few days away 
)btw Skade Ill be in Houston for a full 5 hours on the 30th of july, so I can say I have been in texas after this summer

Really? That my hometown! You have plans for those five hours? I might be able to swing a drive up there. Its seven hours away (8 or nine really depending on which part of Houston you will be in).
