Naskha's in both the campaign details and the game notes sections of the Acrozatarim game board :)

stupid me!

*searches through his game folder* ah here it is :)

At first glace it is not really paladinesque??
dagger, trickery, chaos? they dont really call out paladin.

What is Melisande planning for her future?
maybe something like cleric would be more fitting?
or one of the PrCs from defenders of the faith!

:)

*stares in shock at Friday*

Well you see, Monday and Wednesday had a little get-together on Thursday...well to make a long story short, they flew to Vegas, had Tuesday perform the ceremony dressed as Elvis, and today...out pops Friday (Days have a really quick gestation period).

As his general portfolio, Naskha certainly doesn't look like the kinda god that would have paladin followers.

In fact he doesn't have paladin followers. Except, soon, MElisande.

Thing is, Naskha is quite different in certain aspects to other gods. He's a very characterful individual, mainly because he was once a planewalker adventurer (he was a PC from my last Planescape campaign) who became involved in the early history of the Acrozatarim setting and achieved godhood during the divine wars by pitching in on the side of the Younger gods with his sorcerer followers.

Now, thing is, while his general portfolio is magic, trickery, chaos etc, the nation of Naseria, which he is the patron of, is very strongly NG. Since in certain aspects of his individuality Naskha is CG, the influence of his primary worship base being NG has had significant effects on him. The Hawks of Naseria are already effectively orders of mage-knights in His name, and some of the LG members are paladins in all but the class. He happily supports this. He believes in freedom of the individual after all, and his followers are quite entitled to be LG since it doesn't seem to be detrimental to Naseria in any way.

Anyway, Melisande has seen in the nobility and goodness of Naseria an ideal she wants to uphold; it's all a bit more complicated than I can bother to write here but effectively she wants to take up the sword to smite evil in the name of Naskha (she's very idealistic and perhaps naive, but she's also been taking weapons tarining from Sebastion now as well). She can't join an Elemental ORder at the moment, and the main path open to her to express her beliefs is a paladin-style path. Cleric wont cut it right, and I haven't found any appropriate PrC's. IT just seems easier to mod the paladin class.
