On the subject of GCUK purchases...

I picked up

Buffy: Slayer's Handbook
Buffy: Monster Smackdown

Mutants & Masterminds
and City Book III by Flying Buffalo from Rick Loomis (he looked very bored).

Could have bought a lot more but there weren't that many bargins.

You people have me green with envy. One day... One day I will head east across the water to the cradle of medieval fantasy's birth: Storming real castles, armed with only a digital camera, a laptop and a wireless connection... :)

A bit over organized for my taste but I had fun :D

Over organised? Hmm you could call it that, I think just badly organised would have been a better phrase.

When it was in Loughbourgh it was also badly organised, but at least you got a game.

Old GenCon poor organisation

a) over subscribe players for games
b) find volunteer DM's at last minute
c) shift extra players into other games which were under subscribed, might not be their first choice but at least they get to play.

New GenCon poor organistion.

a) Have 1st floor desk tell players games are full when the slot 1 fills up.
b) Have the additional GM's for slots 2 to 6 sit with there feet up on the 3rd floor wondering why there are so few players this year.

GCUK purchases ...

I tried so hard to resist, but eventually succumbed and added to my dice collection. Then spent the rest of the weekend trying to work out which of my new d20's delivered the best result. One of them already has a special place .... that of being volunteered to any DM if in need. I don't think it rolled above a 6!

Maybe it could be duplicated, and marketed to other players for GM's Day! gifts... :D

Okie doke, Hiveroos, I'm off to do some work! :)
