Hmm boy! Payin' for it today...ugh

Mystery Man

First Post
Went to our local Renaissance Fair yesterday. Spent a good 5 hours and 200 bucks there and had a blast. However, today I am sunburn, tired, and my gut is churning itself inside out. I can't tell if it was the smoked turkey leg, or the chicken gyros with the extra feta cheese but man I tell ya, I know exactly how many tiles are on the bathroom floor here at work. I should've had more beer.

Ugh.

It was probably from listening to some of the Tinker's jokes.

(Looking forward to seeing Molly and the Tinker at the Bristol Renaissance Faire.)

If you spent 200$ on food, you cannot but expect to be a little uncomfortable today... :p

Oh hell, I doubt very much if I'd be at work today! No, the wife found some of those bright shiny objects I mentioned in an earlier thread that women love so much. ;) You know, now that I think about it I didn't get a thing for myself other than a nasty case of the gut busters. I got my son a pirate hat and a walking stick, wife jewelry, my girl a princess hat and wand. Next year it's all about daddy!

To me the key words here are "sunburn" and "feta cheese."

You have my sympathies, but eating cheesy greasy food on a hot day can't be a good idea. ;)

I haven't been to a ren faire in years. May have to drag the kids to one this year. There's King Richard's in Carver, MA not too far away.

Ain't that the truth!! They tear up my stomach enough as it is.... :\

I plan to go back to the one that's near Charlotte. 'Tis fun! ;)

Odd. I had a reverse experience today save for the discomfort part. I went to work [Polar Opposite of Ren Faire], blasted some things, skipped lunch, earned $200, and now my body hurts. :heh:
