Speaking as someone with absolute no biases whatsoever (aside from having written the original Testament book and an article in the issue :-)) this mag absolutely rovkef. I loved the pieces of rabbinical folklore on the sons of Jacob; it half-makes me want to run them as a Biblical-era superhero team. Great stuff, Daniel.

  • Hello, I am not a fan of Testament itself, but the sentence "all ancient ..." is music o my eyes.

Eternal Rome ? Arcanis ? even Hamunaptra ? Sounds good !

Well, Arcanis is not within our license scope, only Green Ronin's Mythic Vistas titles, but you do have the right idea. Though right now the magazine is primarily aimed at supporting Testament, the scope of that setting alone allows us to present material that could be of use to a variety of gamers with similarly-themed settings. The article on the Hekau-Adept, for example, could be slightly tweaked to be used in a Hamunaprtra game, or in any other pseudo-Egyptian culture found in any campaign.

It is my desire to expand our support to the other members of the MV Ancient World trifecta, Eternal Rome and Trojan War, both in how they can interact with Testament (after all, Testament does cover enough time to intersect with these two other titles) and with articles that can be used by players of those particular settings or any setting that features their own version of those cultures.

The Ancient World is a favorite time of my for a game, and it's one that I want to support very much. Good feedback and good sales will make our job easier.

Thanks for the nice words, and I hope that you do get the magazine and enjoy it.

I just wanted to pipe in with my own congratulations Daniel. I know you’ve been working hard on this for a long time, and it is great to finally see it available for sale. I can’t wait till I have some free time to check this product out.
