Ho Ho Ho...another Character Contest on the way

Many of you may recall the Todd Lockwood contest I sponsored last year; Over 150 fantastic entries, and an awesome rendition by Todd of the winner's character.

Well....its time again. A new year, a new artist, loads of fun.

All characters will be eligible, but special attention will be given to Dragonlance characters this time around. So polish those Brightblades and stay tuned. A big announcement is only days away...

Oooo neat. I wonder who the artist will be this time. The first contest is what got me to register. Is there a link to the previous winner's drawing by Todd Lockwood?

Hm... Planescape? Too bad, though our ravenloft group is bothering Lord Soth right now, so I think that's close enough.
Is there any limit of entries per person?
Anyway, I think my other character's (who made it quite far in the old competition) step....thing (can't say step-aunt or step-uncle or whatever when gender is mainly a matter of mood) will compete.

And please tell me it's not Wayne England, I can't imagine that character drawn solely in greens or violets ;-)

Some people dismiss illustrations as the shallow or superficial side of gaming, but not me. I love it when a paintbrush or a pencil can inspire my imagination just as much as the written word. And when a picture is finely crafted, it seems to convey its own sense of life. I love that. And I love imagining things and then seeing those things come to life on page or film.

Somebody's character is about to receive new life. And I'm really looking forward to revealing who will be drawing the winner. This will be a good one....
