Holy Word vs. Marilith

At the end of the description of Holy Word it says "Creatures whose Hit Dice exceed your caster level are unaffected by holy word." So if a Marilith (16HD) is in the areas of a Holy Word cast by a 15th level cleric, the demon does not have to save or be wisked away.

I just noticed this and I was wondering if I'm correct.

Assuming that the 15th level cleric doesn't have anything that raises their caster level, you are correct.

However, the 15th level cleric could have the good domain (+1 to caster level on good spells) the orange ioun stone (+1 caster level) and prayer beads (+4 to caster level for 10 minutes once a day).

If the 15th level cleric had all of the above, it would definately have an effect on the Marilith.
