How "buff" can you get?

Imagine you have a party of high-level (even epic-level) heroes and their almost-as-high-level cohorts ready to Teleport Circle into or near the Dark Lord's Mountain Citadel. Or you have a party of evil anti-heroes, prepared to attack the good army's camp. Just how "buff" can you get (via "buffing" spells) before you blitz in, attack, and pop back out?

What spells would you cast to get ready for a nasty combat?

Don't have my book at work, but basically, it's +4 to AC, saves, and each of your stats. 8th level Sor/Wiz spell, IIRC.

Chck out my Story Hour. One of the posts mentions how the sorcerrer prepared himself for a gladiatorial battle. He ended up being the ultimate melee machine, and that was just at 15th or so level, without access to 9th level spells (A Maximized Tenser's Transformation would have been useful).

Don't go in. Simply cast rain of fire with all posible energy substitutions on the inside of the building and wait a day until everyone inside has taken 12000 points of each kind of damage. Clean up.

Aaron.

Stoneskin, Bull's Strength, Cat's Grace, Endurance, Owl's Wisdom, Protection from Elements (one of each type, 2 on fire, lightening, and cold), Protection/Magic Circle Against/Auro of Alignment, True Seeing, Tenser's Transformations and Righteous Mights on fighters, Divine Power, Greater magic Weapon, Magic Vestaments, Barkskin, Deathward, Negative Energy Protection, Fireshield, Contingency, Chain Contingency, Delayed Heal, Haste, Mass Haste, Expeditious Retreat, Fly, Displacement, Blink, Booches of Shielding, Freedom of Movement, Spell Turning, Spell Resistance, and of course...

Spell Immunity: Dispel Magic, Greater Dispelling, Mordenkainen's Disjunction, and Harm.

(Note: Passing around a Ring of Spellstoring allows everybody to get those lovely Personal range such as Tenser's and Divine Power.)
