How can I find where a limited release movie will be playing?

A movie I'm interested in seeing is only getting a limited release. How can I find out ahead of time if it will be playing in my area? Usually I'm pretty good at finding info online, but I'm not having any luck so far.

Finding out if it's playing around here AFTER its release is easy as can be, but is there a website that will show what locations a movie WILL be playing at? If anyone can help me figure that out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Most movie chains have sites that show what's playing at any of their theaters, anywhere. Your best bets for seeing a limited release film at a chain theaters are chain locations in larger cities, the larger the better usually

Do a search for independent or 'art house' theaters in the area - google maps is generally good for that. Go to the area you want to search, then type 'theaters' up in the search map area. Then go to their website and find out what's playing. Our local art house has one screen and movies stay there for a week, so a limited release picture might come out on X date, but we might get it two months later that way.
