Sadly, in bed sleeping off a migraine . . . .

I did wake up about 2 minutes after midnight, though -- feeling better and just in time to kiss the fiancée, share a small drink together, and take the dog outside so he could, um, relieve himself.



Wow, it's 2003 already.

What the heck happened to 2002?

Made a roast with lots of onions... made random insults about Mtv as my wife watched it.... got drunk off Coors Original... went to sleep, woke up this morning and sat here in the wonderous amazement of my own post beer & onion stench...

We went to a party at some freinds' house. I think all the guests were gamers, except for one guy. We all told jokes & stories, drank red wine, nibbled on tidbits and laughed a great deal. At 11:55, our hosts broke out horns & noisemakers for everyone, and a whole crate of poppers. We watched the ball drop and made more noise than a gross of scalded cats, then about 12:30 we all started wandering home.

Ate two full-sized ham dinners, played Apples to Apples and Phase 10, called friends in faraway places, kissed my girlfriend at midnight, and got very, very tired.

Had my son's friends over and gamed 'til dawn. Everyone's still up... only now its vids and me on the PC...

I spent the evening with my wife, going through the books for Dragon Scale Counters and straightening up things for the accountants and the impending taxes we are going to have to pay (Yes, its official, were PROFITABLE!!!). We also made up reports for december sales, only to wake up this morning and discover that someone had made a last minute order to ring in THEIR new year. lol.

We did manage to sneak in some time to celebrate the new year though with a bottle of Asti Spumante (neither of us like champaign especially and Sparkling wine is close, right?)
