Came and went quite quickly I fear

Went round to a friends house, watched some TV, drank some beer (Stella Artois, no less!), played Age of Mythology, went home, posted here.

Sigh. And now I'm back.

Watched 100 greatest one-hit wonders on VH-1 until 2am. At midnight watched the idiots in Fontana letting off fireworks over the 15 freeway...surprised no one started a fire

went to a friend's house, most of our gaming group was there with a bunch of other people (friends of the host). talked, joked, laughed, drank, ate, played euchre and gin rummy, ate and drank and talked and joked more....

Well, I bought a video game and spent most of the day playing it. Does that count?

Hmm, depends on the video game, I suppose.

Too true. Like, only yesterday it was August and GenCon.

Ah. GenCon . . . .

Amazing how 12 months can seem to pass so quickly. January 2002 feels so far away now, tucked away in the grey mist of The Past.

Time to look ahead, I suppose!

Xaltar and I hung out with Doc Midnight & Dartan at our place.

We drank, ate, played boardgames, Vice City, and watched the special edition LOTR: FOTR until about 11:55 when we tried to find the ball dropping. (We almost missed it because we couldn't figure out which channel it was on.)

Once Xaltar fell asleep on the floor, Dartan & Doc decided it was time to go (around 1am). It was a calm night, but it was fun.
