I discovered this place via Eric Noah's site... I visited a couple of times when his site was still active, but there was some... funky script on his page that would knock out my web browser so my experience was limited. Soon after Eric Noah's closed, the site improved vastly and I am a happy camper here.

I don't remember how I found Eric's site... I do know I was looking for info on 3E before it came out and Eric's was simply the best site for that! :)

I found the old mailbag site (I think that's where it was hosted, mail something). Waaaay back in the first week or so after the announcement of 3e.

I never posted on the boards, but I checked in from time to time, usually after hearing a secondhand report on some mailing list (WOTC's DND-L is how I found the page originally) that referred to Eric for more information.

I first came to the boards around August of 2000, but only into the rules forum where I started absorbing all the little quirks and neat things 3e could do. It wasn't until around February of '01 that I started to post occasionally, though.

I've faded in and out quite a few times, and only ever ranked up about 500 posts on the old boards. Those were mostly in my story hour.

I found EN World through Eric's site. I found Eric's site through a reference by someone in WotC mentioning surfing at RPGplanet, I can't remember who it was or where they mentioned it. I used to go to the main page for news but it was a while before I started hanging out here at the messageboards, and even when I finally did I lurked for a while before I started chiming in.

I used to goto Eric 's site for news, then one day I decided to check out the Messageboards, up until then I never looked at a message board before, let alone used one.
So I lurked for a long time then when Morrus took over, I finally decided to start posting, now I'm hooked, although this is pretty much the the only board I post on.
It's just the best place on the net, the people here the greatest.
Good info and good people, that's why I like the boards so much. :)
