How do you compare? What color is your most-used set of dice?

I usually grab about 4-5 sets every session to use as needed. I have an ivory colored set that's probably my first choice, I have my "lava" dice that are a speckled red and black, I have clear ones, and frosted clear ones, and translucent red ones.

I also have a few other sets that I carry around with me, but I use much less frequently.

Blue.

Decades ago at a gameshop where I played a lot, we each chose a dice color during a particular game. I didn't own dice at the time, so I went over and bought a set of blue Gamescience dice. I still have them and I still own only blue, clear, white and silver dice. All others are rejected!

My most-used dice is 2 clear d6es, 1 red, one blue.

It really depends on the game...

- When I DM d20 Fantasy I use Black Dice with Red numbering... players call 'em the Black Dice of Death
- When I play d20 Fantasy I use a Blue Marble set I bought years ago.
- When I play d20 Steampunk/Eberron I use a Metal set that was give to me.
- In Vampire or Mage games I use Clear Purple.

I'd love to get me some metal dice. They cost an ungodly amount of money, though, and although I can afford them if I really want them, when it comes right down to it, I'm not sure that I do want them $50, $60 or $70 worth.

My most used dice are the red dice that came with my Basic Set in 1980. Of course they are the most used because of their age. Currently I use my other dice most of the time, only pulling out the red ones when the roll really matters.
