How do you compare? What color is your most-used set of dice?

I always do mix-n-match -- not all the dice are the same colour.

More fun that way -- I throw a rainbow!

I don't have a die-set, but my most used die is a red d20 with yellow numbers.

Using it means I'm rolling in the open, and that can lead to death...

I'd love to get me some metal dice. They cost an ungodly amount of money, though, and although I can afford them if I really want them, when it comes right down to it, I'm not sure that I do want them $50, $60 or $70 worth.

I am lucky enough to have a Machinist friend that plays D&D... he made the set for me out of solid aluminium and had the pieces polished to a mirror like finish... very cool looking. Needless to say he only runs Steampunk and Eberron games .

I voted Something Else. I have a different set of dice for each character that I play, so how often I use a particular set relies on how often I play that character.

I don't use a particular "set" of dice. All mine have been bought loose, and I pick and choose from the bag as suits my mood. I'm pretty sure I can't manage a single-colored set from the lot.

I usually use different dice for each character, and a lot of sets when I GM. But the dice match the character somewhat and the son of Sûne's (currently fallen) arch angel for Love use frosted pink dice.

I have 4 sets of dice. In order of preference they are:

White on red (transparent), white on green (transparent), white on yellow (transparent), and green on red (marbled). The green on red on sucks, since it's hard to read. The white on red is the most visible.

My most-used set is my polished brass set which my loving wife gave me as an anniversary gift. :-D

When I'm DMing, sometimes I think my dice aren't plastic, they are made out of 100% pure concentrated evil.

The following is what I use as a player: I have two little red d20's that I got from the BattleBox: Arcana Evolved Set and the BattleBox: Core Fantasy Set (Fiery Dragon). I use a pewter d8 and for the rest I use regular sized gold-colored metal dice.
