Here's a hint: 'Svirf' does not rhyme with 'Smurf'.

In fact, 'Svirf' rhymes with 'queer' (or 'beer' for the more sexuality-confused posters).

And given the nature of Nordic languages, the emphasis could be on either of the first 2 syllables in Svirfneblin, depending on regional dialect.
