this all comes about from watching Serenity again last night, the first thing I did was watch the deleted scenes and some of the other bonus material and when Joss said anytime he thinks of Sci Fi he thinks of the Millennium Falcon ...
and I said out loud to myself (and to my daughter, she's only 4 mos so I don't think she quite got the same message I did) "All I think about when seeing any Sci Fi is ... What would a Jedi do?" Does anyone else suffer from this affliction?
gods ... battlestar, serenity/firefly, matrix, star trek, terminator, and all the other stuff that I can't remember anymore ... (right, Stargate series!)

On a side note, is the wide-screen Serenity that much different from the full screen? I know old full screen stuff cuts out a lot, but I'd assume the newer stuff would compensate and not cut our edges of the picture.
