How would this be done?

The young woman watched her opponent and then made her move. In one swift move, she did a headstand and wrapped her strong legs around the mans neck. With even more grace and skill, she tossed him with her legs.

She stood up and watched the man lying on his back ...

Catch a women's match on a wrestling program. They do this all the time.

Its called a Hurricanrada, or some such.

Jump almost into your opponent's face so that your legs wrap around her head, then flex down, using your mass to pull your opponent forward and over. If they don't want to go face/head first into the ground, they'll have to flip over you.

How would you do this in D&D terms? No clue. Don't believe the mechanics are there for this kind of move (as with many others). Maybe a feat allowing this as a standard attack. Requiring at least 8 or 10 ranks in Tumble plus the Improved Unarmed Strike feat.

Interesting....what's it for?

I would start with a tumble check for the headstand (1*), then a grapple check for wrapping her legs around his neck (2*). This seems similar to the Thief-Acrobat Cartwheel charge in Song and Silence. Assuming that the grapple hits, then I would allow the player or NPC to throw them instead of inflicting damage (3*).

That's a quick, off the top of my head, no books around suggestion that seems to make sense to me.

Hope that help some.

Depends on the effect.

It looks like the end effect is that the target winds up prone. No mention of damage. That makes it, in essence, a Trip with lots of flavor text.

I think that's the best way to go, unless you really want something more exotic (like the aforementioned feats).
