How is your autumn/winter going?

My life is in a 'low' point right now. My wife is REALLY depressed and nothing I can do about it (mostly because we have been trying to get pregnant and after a year no luck.. had a few tests and we just have a low chance of it due a combo of things. Also she is not working in what she wants to be and so not happy about that). And of course her Aunt is not helping much... they are Filipino and kids are important and she makes my wife feel like it is her fault (and ticks me off to noooo ends)

My job pretty much blows, and will probably be ending in Jan.

Just not much I can do about it right now, just have to live through it I guess

i'm sitting edited for Grandma in tall cotton.

been running an OD&D session on and off for months and having a blast.

had some work done on my house, which put me in hock, but makes me finally able to say the house is more to my liking.

my wife took a job in state so we ain't moving any time soon.

and WotC is releasing the Complete Idiot's Guide to d02 Roleplaying in April.

I have to say, things are going pretty well for me right now. We just got a dog, and the training is going pretty well. At work, the paperwork for my promotion is finally moving along after being held up for almost a year (damn state employee policies), I can expect to see the $ in my paycheck in Jan or Feb. I quit my second job about 2 months ago, and feel very relaxed now that I don't have to worry about trying to schedule things around it. I just finished up a swimming fitness class, and am getting ready to start another one. My wife recently started a new job, which she likes. And I'm starting a new D&D campaign on Dec. 6th, so all the ideas I've been kicking around for several years are finally starting to come together. OTOH, a good friend is moving to NY next month, which I'm not too happy about, but it'll be a good change for him, so I wish him all the best.
