Well our first campaign in 3e lasted for 5.5 years. The campaign following that one has lasted 1.5 years, and should probably continue for 2 or 3 more. Truth told though... we only game together about 3 times a month.

The "typical" (one) campaign I run has lasted 3+ years.

The typical campaigns I play in last more like 2 months.

I have recently joined a new group, As DM, my campaigns have been going for about 6 months. We meet once a week, The campaigns will probably last years, at the rate the party is going.
I have an online game, that I DM, that has been going for almost 1 and a half years.

My "Out of the Frying Pan" campaign was one month shy of 5 years.

I expect my "Second Son of a Second Son" campaign to last a similar amount of time.

Before that longest campaign I had run was 3 years and I think the average would be about 2 years.

Well, I don't feel so bad then. The campaign I've been running since late 2001 seems to be taking forever to finish up, but that's because we can only get together once or twice a month. Only gaming together three times a month sounds heavenly to me!
