Holy crap I did not expect that result to the poll. Yeah, yeah, I know, selection bias and all that. But WOWZERS. People have MUCH more stable groups that I would have guessed. I mean, according to this, 80% of groups are 3 years or more? On one hand, that's freaking fantastic! I love the fact that groups are that stable. It's the way it should be. On the other hand, I'm SO JEALOUS!

81%! Don't short change us. ;)

Like I said earlier, though, I think that overall you are correct. I suspect that most groups are casual gamers in junior high, high school and college, and those groups are going to have a lot of turnover, especially in high school groups where kids split up to go to different colleges or begin work when they graduate. Then they will split up again when they graduate and go home or go to post graduate education.

This site has a lot of older folks who are extra invested, so we will tend to have much more stable groups.
