I voted 21-30 as a guess, looking at the list, I have 24. Not bad.

And I do find the spell compendium useful. I don't like to go searching through lots of books for spells, so I just limit spell choices to the big books of spells*. When the Compendium comes out, it will be added to the list.

For refernce I have/use about as many d20 fantasty books as I do Wizards. And lots and lots of monster books - 24 hardcover and about 10 softcover ones. Can't have too many monster books.

* Right now that is the two Relics and Rituals books, the Ulitmate Arcane and Divine Spellbooks from Mongoose and the PH.

I wish the 1-10 was broken down into smaller choices. I only own four WOTC books for DND which includes the three core books. Oh wait, 3.5 is specified. In that case, I own only 1 book which is the Unearthed Arcana (I used the SRD to update). On my to buy list is Stormwrack while on my might by list are Complete Warrior and Dragonomicon.

I'll look at the spell compendium and see how much is actually useful for my campaign world. Wotc books have been very spotty for spells that I would allow in my campaign. Some products have several spells that I will allow while other books (e.g., Book of exalted Deeds and Complete Divine) have perhaps one or two.

Let's see,

Unearthed Arcana
Dragonlance CS
Complete Warrior

So three, but not the usual 3. :)

Although I guess the 3.5 srd might count as a 4th, but it is an rtf and not even a pdf product.

i also have the Scourge of the Worlds.. DVD or whatever it was called.
plus the D&D for Dummies book

plus i even bought Midnight Syndicates Music for D&D DVD.

and the minis..

I own most of what WotC has produced for D&D 3.5. I don't have all of the DM screens or character sheet sets. I used to have all of the 3.0 stuff, but I have also sold off some of the 3.0 stuff that was redone for 3.5 (Sword & Fist, etc.).

Err, let's see...

3 core books
4 complete books
Heroes of Horror
Heroes of Battle
MM3
Fiend Folio- ehh, I'll count this as half
Planar HB
3 'monster type' books (Draconomicon, LM, LoM)
3 environment books
Expanded Psionics HB
Eberron CS
Unearthed Arcana

...plus lots of minis, but I'll only count these as one product rather than as hundreds. ;)

I might have missed something, but I'm not sure what.

Own:

Core 3, Complete Adventurer, Libris Mortis and Map Folio 1

Soon to get:
Lords of Madness, Complete Warrior, Arcane and Divine

Wish were cheaper:
Frostburn, Stormwrack and Sandstorm
