my list would be:

All of them. plus multiple copies of the PHB, DMG, and MM

I've got to ask. Why? Are you a completist collector? I collect RPGs, but selectively. I collect Eberron and am thinking about Frostburn, Stormwrack and Sandstorm, but can't see my way to buying everything WotC puts out.

14 WotC 3.5e Books:
Players Handbook
Dungeon Masters Guide
Monster Manual
Expanded Psionics Handbook
Unearthed Arcana
Book of Exalted Deeds
Players Guide to Faerun
Lost Empires of Faerun
Complete Arcane
Complete Divine
Complete Warrior
Complete Adventurer
Dragonlance Campaign Setting

Now, for 3.0e, that's 25 more books.

3 Core books
1 XPH
4 Complete Books
3 Races books
1 Unearthed Arcana
3 Monster Books
1 MM III
1 BoED
3 Environmental
1 PGtF
1 ECS

That's 22, right? I don't count the DM screen. By next year, I'll probably have closer to 30. Of course, this doesn't count 3e books which still come in really handy (MotP, A&EG, DDg, etc).

I've also gotten the vast majority (if not all) of them at a discount averaging better than 30%.

mostly to complete my collection. i have or had all of the TSR product line too.

and also sadly b/c i am playing the wretched game. read the story hour in my sig. it starts in the 2000ed and converts over to the revision. we just completed another session recently so i still have updates to add.

You can lump me into this category too, although I am not quite at diaglo's level yet - I still have just over 100 items left to acquire to complete the original TSR portion. But I do manage to try to use at least bits and pieces from all the new material that I acquire in my games.

But I too have a question for diaglo - do you collect all the TSR product lines, or just the D&D section?
