"Know this," Raistlin said calmly, looking up at the Tower, pitching his voice so that it could be heard by those within. "I am the master of past and present! My coming was foretold. For me, the gates will open." (Annotated DRAGONLANCE Chronicles pg. 1308)

Slightly off topic... but am I the only person who thought the Dragonlance Chronicles were really bad?

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one. I felt like such an outcast! (and that's bad for a gamer)

ooops! I didn't read that it was just d20 books! I thought AD&D/ D&D (the real one)/ and d20!

I don't know how to change my vote: it should have been 10... mostly thanks to midnight

I just thought that the story was so preditcable and followed every fantasy cliche to the hilt. Maybe it's because I didn't read them untill the late 90's, and had already read many great fantasy novels.

Currently, only two, as I ditched most of my 3.0 material (just kept the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer) and I only brought the 3.5 Players' Handbook. If, by some miracle, I find some time to play I would probably get a few more.

I've got about 45 books. I didn't realize I had that many until I counted. I really don't buy a lot, but I've "not been buying a lot" for about 4 years now, so the number of books I have is starting to add up! So, basically, I average about a book a month.
