Ye gads... I am fast approaching 1500 (though at least a couple hundred are TSR's).

Hi, my name is The Sigil, and I'm a PDF junkie...

Hi Sigil.

Welcome to the group. Help yourself to the donuts.

I prefer having the real book. I own a few pdf's, but they are only good for reviewing on my break at work and to print out a page or 2 for notes during a game.

A question to the folks with a plethora of PDFs (and who actually use them).

Do you have a notebook (or labtop)?
Do you use the PDFs on your notebook?
Do you think it would make a difference if you didn't?

Ok, three questions. ;)

Bye

No. Hence, no and no.

I use mine on my destop machine at work and at home, then print out any neccessary bits to use during the game. I actually find that printing out just the parts I need dramatically reduces the pile of stuff that lays in front of me while I GM.

Less stuff to flip through means better organization for me. If I've got all the pertinant suff in one neat package, it's easier to review before each game, I can better find what I'm looking for during the game, and I can mark all over it whenever I want (which is something I'm loathe to do with my printed materials).

Yes and a Clie.

Do you use the PDFs on your notebook?
Never. But frequently I have them loaded on my Clie.

Do you think it would make a difference if you didn't?

No.

I always have my laptop when I GM, and I frequently reference PDFs on it. I love it. Much faster to search. I also keep my house-rules on my computer for quick reference (new classes, etc.). In fact I keep the SRD open on my laptop while I GM so I don't have to flip pages.

Sovelior-Sage roxxors my boxxors. :)

Okay, my count at Rpgnow is 593 products in my primary account, 9 on my secondary account, roughly 40 from DTRpg, 1 from the ENGS (Wizard's Cabal), 35 review copies, 150+ complimentary/in kind service.

So I'm guessing about 780 products (I'm deducting for multiple Rpgdeposits).

Not as many as Man-Thing
