How Many Groups Do You Play In?

How in the hell do you find the time and players?????????????????
I don't know whether to be impressed, jealous, or sad at your pathetic lives. (That last part was a joke, but seriously 3 groups, 4 groups?????????)

For me 4 groups boils down to twice a week. I've met the players I haven't known for the last 20 years here, through Boston gamedays, mostly.

I only have time for one game a week & my weekends belong to my family, but the rest of the people in my group have a bigger group that meets on Saturdays.

I had a similar situation in my college days. I had to ask the group to have a separate campaign that met at a fixed time each week so that if I missed a session it was by choice, not because I had a prior obligation or didn't even know about it. But then it was on Sunday instead of squeezed into a weeknight like now.

Finding players is not the problem. Finding (competent) DM's is. I'm trying to get out of DM-ing - I've been at it for about 22 years straight except for a couple of 6-9 month breaks - and there's going to be some players left out to twist unless someone steps up to the plate and runs a game. But the time is always there...if you don't have it, make it.

Only one...and thats every two weeks...but we're thinking about adding a Darwins World game between that.

At the time being, one group. One group, 10 people. Of course, in my area, that is all the gamers in it.
