How many have or intend to buy 3.5 books?

I plan to sell my 3.0 core books (1st printing, mint condition) and some other stuff that's causing my shelves to sag, so I can get funds for the new set.

I must say, I'm surprised at just how many are buying all three books again. In my group of friends, only one person bought all three and one other bought the new PHB so far.

If it really is about 2/3rd of the people buying all three again, it is a pretty safe bet that WotC will come out with a new edition within 3-4 years from now. The marketting people will insist on it.

I have "bought" myself the SRD 3.5.

I am evaluating if it's the case to buy the books, in which case I think it'll be all 3, but our gaming group is 90% going to continue the campaign with the same 3.0 rules.

I think the 3.5 books costs too much compared to how much I spent for 3.0, and in fact I have been trying since a few months ago to find out what's in the september gift package of the 3, and how much it will cost.
If it costs less than the 3 purchased separately and has already some errata fixed, it's possible that I would buy it. I could also afford a few Euros more if it has dice in the package, but NOT if it has miniatures.

Yup, I bought all three.

Plus two extra PHBs, one for Djeta and one for another friend as a B-day present.

I'll probably end up buying a few more for the rest of my group at some point....

I like 3.5 THAT much.

I bought all three from Talon last friday. So far I am very happy with them, and I didn't mind the cost. Out of our group only two members don't already have 3.5.

I believe that our next game will be using the new version.

I pre-ordered online and received all 3 books. Then I downloaded the SRD and printed out 3 copies for my group. Even the SRD is huge! And yesterday I purchased a second copy of the PHB.

OK, the second copy is a gift for somebody else and partly to spread the love to my FLGS. But still, I like 90% of what I see in the new books.

Fate has choosen for me not to purchase these books. I preordered them months ago, then I moved, and forgot to change the delivery address. They were delivered to the old address and hopefully are on their way back to Amazon. Then last night I went to Talon Comics to order AU and the 3 revised core books. Well Paypal would not let me put in a new ship address with the old credit card info and anytime I re-entered the credit card info it said it was already on file and wanted a different one.

So I then went to Walmart. I again screwed up in Walmart by putting the wrong exp date, but they would not let me change that they kept asking for the 3 digit code in the sig panal. After several tries they would not let me use that card. I have a card that I request a low $$ limit that I use for all of my internet purchasing. This protects me from hassles of someone charging thousands of dollars on this card. I won't use any other card on the internet. I decided I will just wait and buy them when I have more free time.
