Most of my sessions would be double triple sessions by the "two hours" guideline. Heh, when I was young we'd do 10-14 hour marathons every weekend. Now I'm a long established family man who mostly plays on weeknights, but 6:30-7:00 to 10:30-11:30 is the norm, so call the average session four hours.
Well, COVID actually spiked the number of games. Amount of competing events went way down, barrier of travel removed with virtual gaming, and after a while we all just wanted to see people we didn't live with. I think three games a week plus a biweekly game was my peak, so that would work out to seven two-hour sessions a week. But right now is likely more representative - one weekly game, two bi-weekly games on alternate weeks, and a monthly weekend game teaching the kids and their cousins that lasts 4-6 hours. So that would average out to be save 4-5 two-hour sessions a week. Futz those together and then add in the Jan-Feb live gaming and we're at well over 200 two-hour sessions a year. Well less than that in actual session, just normalized for the length.
