Hard to recall - AFAICR AD&D/OSRIC early in the year, a bunch of 4e D&D, Savage Worlds, 3e D&D online, and I'm closing out the year with some AD&D again. So 4 I think. Oh, I did some PBEMing that was Labyrinth Lord AFAICR. So 5.

Why wouldn't you include them?
Yes, please include convention games in you total, and please includes games played via email, forum post, Skype, et cetera.

Played a one-shot to see if Smallville's your thing? Count it. Tried Mouse Guard at a con? Count it. Playing HeroQuest[/o] by email? Count it.

Number of tabletop roleplaying games you played this year, however briefly. That's what I'm curious about.

OK, I added my "convention only" games to my initial post. I'm sure I played more, but it is too blurred with the board games and card games for me to recall more.

Descent campaign (5 games, and continuing)

How is this as a campaign? I've flipped through the book on that but wanted to hear from someone who has played it that way. How many of the expansions does your group use for it? (Thanks in advance for any details you can offer.)

2-5:

ICONS - a whole lot of ICONS.
Dead of Night 2e
Some Colonial Gothic

And at least one session of:
Pathfinder
Microlite20

I didn't get a chance to play two favorites in 2011 that I played in 2010: True20 and Decipher Trek

(I'm defining "play" to include playing the game as a player or a GM)

This year:

The Dresden RPG (2 sessions) - Tabletop/in person
4e (1 session last weekend, new campaign) - Maptools/Skype.

If I had anything resembling a reliable group, I'd play as much as I could.
