How much caffeine do you consume a day?

Near caffeine free. Drinking caffeine was almost exclusively reserved for research paper nights (which ended when I graduated). I do love my chocolate, though. Thankfully, I moderate myself enough that it works out to maybe a candy bar every week or three.

Go Me! :)

(Okay, been reading the secret diaries of the LotR characters lately)

I come up at a whopping 0 on the caffeine intake chart. I drink no coffee, touch no tea, and mix my own soda (which may have it's own consequences... Anyone ever have a drink that changed color from reddish-brown to bright orange by tilting it?). No chocolate passes my lips (expcept on very rare occasions), and I can honestly say that I am clean.
I've had my say, and now I go.
Magius out.

I average about 10-15 mg per day. I haven't had any today (no coffee, soda, chocolate, etc.), but from time to time I'll have something. Caffeine was interfering with my sleep, so I cut way back.

Probably around 10-20 just for chocolate. I don't like coffee and the only sodas I drink are italian fruit sodas that don't happen to have any caffeine. Not a conscious decision to cut back on caffiene but it works out to a small amount.

I use to drink 3 litres of Coca-cola a day, as well as anywhere to 4 to 6 chocolate bars.

According to the chart, that's less than 400mg of caffiene... and the dependency level is stated at the top as 450.

Where's the problem? :D

That was an average day. Trust me, I was there. I was severely addicted.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the peanut buster parfait I'd usually have every day at lunch.

Also note that something like Jolt has way more caffeine in it than a regualr cola. I'm not sure how much but I think it's at least twice the amount.

Your numbers are a bit high for drip coffee and 1.5 oz of espresso, especially considering that the majority of "baristas" underexract the coffee, but that is another thread on another website. In fact so is this...

I try not to drink coffee unless I have to. Same with softdrinks in general. They're like poison to me. A necessary evil in times of need but an evil nonetheless.

I drink about 1 1/2 2 liter bottles of RC a day.

At one time, I did actually try to give up soda. But, I literally couldn't find anything else to drink.

I drank milk for a while, but I'm slightly allergic to it, and the more I drank, the worse my allergy got. So I had to quit.

I tried fruit juice, but that caused stomach troubles. So I had to give that up. (I tried them all - grape, apple, orange, plus sports drinks and stuff like Hawaiin punch)

I tried just sticking to water. But also was problematic - it made my acid reflux really really bad.

Alcohol makes me sick, so I can't drink beer.

So I went back to drinking Soda. I actually prefer Coke, but I developed an allergy to that (it makes me cough very badly), so I had to switch to RC. (I also can't drink out of cans).

(It also made me realize that if I had lived in the past, my life really would have sucked...)
