How much caffeine do you consume a day?

Hmm, I wonder how Mountain Dew stacks up against 'regular cola'. I know I drink on average 100 oz. a day. I don't drink, don't smoke, so I always figured it was a habit I could live with.

Depends on the soda. If it's cola then I'd say 30 mg.

A standard soda can (in the U.S. at any rate) is 12 oz., which is 45 mg according to the chart. Overseas the cans tend to be a little bit smaller.

Two mugs of tea a day, about 500 by the chart apparently

OTOH, I read a few years ago about the wonders of caffinated water -- goes by such commercial names as AquaJoe and H2Joe. I laughed over this and told my roomies, who were both serious caffiene junkies, almost on the 2-pot-a-day level.

Their eyes got wide and excited over the thought of this stuff

So when I found some, they demanded to know where.

They bought the stuff

Then they brought it home and make espresso...

I stayed away for the next 6 hours for them to calm down a little...

Really depends on whether it's American Mountain Dew, or the Canadian version. The Canadian version has no caffeine in it at all - and yes, there's literally no reason to drink it up here because of that.

Yeah, my wife, bless her heart, bought me a case of Caffeine Free Mountain Dew recently. Seems kinda pointless. Except that I've actually grown accustomed to its taste now.
