About 12 hours, I think. Two hours' worth of play in my last Pathfinder session, after we finished converting the PCs, plus two five-hour sessions of Keep on the Shadowfell.

My next Fourth Edition game is Thursday night, the first session of a new game.

80% of the way through KotS, which alone accounts for 20 - 25 hours. A couple of side sessions--so maybe 30 hours of genuine post-release play. I went with that option on the poll.

I did play at DDXP, and then ran several demo sessions in a PR capacity in the lead-up to launch. That might put me over the 40 hour mark, but in the perceived spirit of the poll I didn't include those hours.

I agree that the combats get much shorter as the players first come to understand the system, then their own powers, and then finally how to work together more efficiently. They also get less deadly, so much so that I think in a year many of us will look back at Irontooth and wonder what all the hoopla was about . . . .
