How much money did we collect?

Well, the question says it all: what was the final amount? Last time I read about it Morrus said it was $ 16 000, while I´ve heard talk about sums as high as $18 000-20 000. Anyone knows for sure?

At the bottom of the screen you should see a title bar labeled Forum Jump. Scroll through the options, and it'll take you right there.

Last figure I saw was about $19,000 - over $2,000 of which has already gone to cover old debts and hosting through the end of this month.

I heard about the same as Henry. But that's how much was collected. I know they were working out ways to pay as little tax as possible on it, but I don't know how much Morrus actually got. I'm not even sure he knows yet. But as Henry says, a nice chunk has gone to pay off the debts of hosting. In addition, I know some other debts (such as those related to the Ennies) have also been page. All of which is quite good.

But as of yet, no official number has been announced.

I don't have a final total yet (there were numerous fundraisers from publishers etc.), but the amount collected directly via Eric or Exp. Retreat Press was about $19000, give or take some change. Some of that has been sent to Cyberstreet, some to cover ENnies costs from earlier this year.

I'm still looking at options on how to use it best. A server upgrade looks very likely at some point.
