I'm 51 and have been playing since the early '90s so there are certain things in rules I know won't work for me. I'm not a fan of FATE, Powered by the Apocalypse, or Forged in the Dark games. I'm sure it's my own issue and I avoid them. I usually walk away from a game if it doesn't have Hit Points either. I don't want to roll more than about 5 or 6 dice at a time and I tend to like the idea of dice pool games but don't play them in practice.
