D&D (2024) How should the Blood Hunter be implemented in 1DnD?

Order of the mutant is clearly trying to be a Geralt/Witcher clone. Definitely not something I'd describe as a barbarian subclass.

Order of the Mutant might be trying to be Geralt of Rivia - but the base class is not a good Geralt class to the point that a ranger or even an artificer would do better.

I like the blood hunter (I have one in my Ravenloft game and he's the most normal PC) but the class still feels like it was designed with partner/3e in mind and then ported to 5e. (I know that's not what happened, but the design feels more 3e than 5e).

There are a few things I wish they had made KISS, but it's a good class for those players who want a more complicated class option.
