Except that would equally apply to the tribes people as well.

Why would they use Troll blood when mercury is so much more effective?

Because mercury is a fast gawd and an other gawds don't look too kindly of you eating their friends.

Well, I don't know about "countless," because they could be counted if you had the time and the resources. But yes, metagaming is considered a faux pas / pejorative at some tables, just like "rules lawyer" or "munchkin" or "powergamer" or "hobomurderer"* or a number of other phrases (for DMs, "killer DM," "Monty haul campaign," etc.).

If your argument is simply, "I don't like that other people don't like this," that's fine. But to paraphrase the great Judge John Hodgman, people like what they like. Suck it up buttercup. If you want to be a rules lawyer, be one. Join a table with other rules lawyers, or where the other players and the DM appreciate good rules lawyerin'. Same with metagaming.
Are you maybe confusing me with someone else? Maybe other poster(s)? I don't recall making any arguments even close to what you seem to be taking issue with. Or are we just getting back into strawman territory? Am I being made an example of? If you are going to quote me, I would appreciate if you would stick to addressing things I'm actually saying.

The little boy didn't either, until it was too late. :)
That's not an answer. More of a clumsy dodge, if anything. :)

Yeah but a trip to the pub will be ruined if I don't know how every beer I'm gonna drink tastes before I drink it apparently! lmfao
That's why you need to have a pint of each before you decide which one you're going to settle in with for the night. :)
