How to stack races?

Are there any rules on stacking races?
Ex. If I want to make a Half ogre/orc instead of an Half Ogre/human.
Or what about a half orc/elf, or ogre/elf ? you get the picture:-)
Do I just add benefits and draw backs or what?

There are rules for stacking races. They're called templates.

If there isn't a template for it, you'd have to make one.

I'm not aware of a half-ogre template.

Not really, you have to figure it out if the races isn't already somewhere.

They're called orogs, and AFAIK are in Races of Faerûn.

They're impossible, I'd say. Both Corellon and Gruumsh will take measures if such a thing should happen.

Sometims, but often you have to think what should get into the mix and what should stay out.

Here's a half-ogre template I had lying around, most likely saved from a thread elsewhere on the forums. Author unknown.

1/2-Ogre
Str +4 Int -2
Dex 0 Wis 0
Con +2 Chr -2
plus an additional negative 2 to Int, Dex, or Wis, (Player's Choice)
Medium Sized Giant/Humanoid
(Qualifies as both Humanoid and Giant gaining the benifits and the detriments of both)
Speed: 30 ft
+1 Natural AC
Darkvision: 60 ft
+4 to Intimidate
+2 to Spot and Listen
-2 to most Cha based skills (i.e. Diplomacy, Animal Empathy, Bluff, etc.)
-2 to Hide and Move Silently
Can use the Bastard Sword as a Martial rather than Exotic Weapon
All Clothing/Armour is Double price
Automatic Langauges: Giantish and Common
Bonus Languages: Dwarf, Orc, Goblin, Gnoll

Choose one Feat:

Scent (as per MM or DMG), Endurance, Toughness, or Great Fortitude.

Special Feats:
if either of these is to be taken it must be taken af first level.

Thick Skin:
Prerequisites: Con 16, must descend froma race that has Natural AC that is not derived soley from Size.
Effect: gives the character 1 (one additional point of natural AC but subtracts 1 (one) from all Charisma based skills except intimidate).

Big Brute:
Prerequisites: must Descend from a race that is Defined as Large as per MM
16 Str and Con
Effect: Increases Unarmed Damage to 1d4, +4 to Grapple, 10 ft Reach, -1 AC penalty, -1 To Hit Penalty
Notes: this feat paves the way to feats such as "Large and in Charge" (as per Sword and Fist)
