How to stat a wombat? and then make it dire?

First Post
I want to work out how to make a dire wombat, but I'm not entirely sure how to do it. Been thinking about basing it on the badger (but removing the rage thing).

Does anyone know much about wombats? Or has anyone here tried to write one up before?

:D

LOL

I think wombats are actually quite tough, as tough as badgers if not tougher. I need to find out more about wombats in real life, I think.... :D

No one's tried this before?

I haven't seen it, and it's the sort of thing I'm likely to look for.

Wombat's and badgers have a few similaries, from what I've seen of Badgers anyway. Normally the wombat's pretty placid, sleeps a lot like most native australian fauna, but gets riled. Don't know that it'd get rage, but nasty when riled.

I'll check around. Some of my friends may know more about this than me.

Cross the dire boar and the dire badger, and make it a marsupial. With both Ferocity and Rage it should be a mega-dire wombat.

Now thats plain nasty!

However their was a Prehistoric Giant Marsupial in Oz which might have filled that exact description - and I beleive it was the size of a Rhinocerous

The diprotodon. I don't think it was quite rhino-size, but was still quite large - as big as a horse, at least.

BTW, the Shadowrun sourcebook on Australia has stats for the Awakened "wombrick". A wombat from hell. :)

A wombat from hell? Cool!

Well -- The Iconic Wombat is a wombat from heaven (kinda). She isn't done yet but I thought you should see!

Although considering recent events perhaps her alternate form should be a gnome...
