I'm not a big fan of the current grapple rules. I think they are to cumbersome. If you were designing the new grapple rules, what would you do to make them easier?

I don't trust my accuracy at the moment -- my SW Saga books is lent out -- but there were a couple of feats which gave Pin and Throw as Grapple options with fast resolution. No "break the grapple" flow chart, just "win this and your opponent is limited to one swift action next round".el-remmen said:Can you give an overview?

Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong!![]()

Frankly everything dealing with fighting without weapons needs to be rethought and upgraded.
Yeah, this is basically how it works. I kind of have a mixed opinion about them. I told all of my friends about them and they are pretty much horrified that all their options are taken away.Baby Samurai said:Well, there are rules for grabbing and grappling in Saga.
I believe if you make an opposed attack roll to grab, and you succeed, your opponent cannot take any actions, until they spend a standard action to break free (one grabber per CL).
Grappling comes in when you have the feats Crush, Pin, or Throw.
