Human Fighter... Please?

Hi. I'm in need of a human fighter. I need it for my game on Saturday, and I don't have access to a Player's Handbook to make one... I have the base stats, I just need mods and all that good stuff. If I give you all the abilities I have, can someone please finish him for me? I'd really appreciate it. Oh, and if you can't tell, I'm pretty new to 3rd. ed.

Those can go anywhere. Also, if you feel like it, I'd like him to have a battle axe and some armor. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this. Thanks. See ya!

Well, I'd arrange the stats like so: Str 17, Con 15, Dex 13, Int 13, Wis 12, Cha 11.

Battle axe and armor types, huh? Okay, as a 2nd-level human fighter I'd take the following feats: Weapon Focus (battleaxe), Power Attack, Cleave, Improved Initiative.

Maybe substitute Expertise, Dodge, or Alertness for Improved Initiative.

Skills: I'd just max out jump, climb, craft (weaponsmith) and swim at 5 ranks each.

Really, no one can make your character for you; you have to decide what you want him or her to be like. Nobody else can do that part for you. So many choices...

Thanks. I know how I can work this guy. But what are my saving throws and all that? I'm sorry for asking for all this, but I can't do it myself at the moment... =ol Thanks.

What do I roll to figure out how much money I start with? Like I've said, I really have no clue without a book. I also need to know how to figure out my HP. Thanks. See ya!

again, if you go with Jester's stat placement...

your hit points will be 14+1d10 (12(max hit points at first level) + 1d10 (fighter hit die) +2 (Con Bonus)

your money - if your DM starts the game 'by the book', a second level PC should start with 900 gold pieces. your DM may have a different way of doing things (for example: starting characters in the Forgotten Realms begin with extra equipment and/or money). you should really talk to your DM before Saturday

what else do you need to know?

I'd place the 13 in Wisdom and the 12 in Intellegence. I've found that few people outside of Wizards increase their Int, where increasing your wisdom will help Will save, spot, and listen checks. All three of which are important to a fighter.

But a 13 int opens up the expertise tree!
