Humans get what?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Good one though. XD

On topic- I'm partial to Eladrin. The teleport, especially the rp opportunities its unique features allow for, make it the ideal choice for me. Not to mention it fits well into a Feypact Warlock's character background.

What I find interesting is that there's one race that's really good, but it won't become obvious until you've played quite a bit of 4E. I'm not telling which one it is, though. ;)

And while you're at it, maybe some reassurance that the half-elf won't be underpowered in comparison to the other races? :)

I haven't seen a half-elf in play yet. But it doesn't look like it'd be unerpowered, at least.

That's okay. As Scott Rouse once said: "Top men are working on it."

Top. Men.

Unlike previous editions, every race is now teh kewl.

Humans used to really stink back in 1st edition and 2nd edition. Then 3e came along and it was 1/2 elves turn to get nerfed. Now everyone gets something.

Humans are good at everything but I think the only thing they're best at is Wizard. Granted, I have little experience thus far but the human feat Action Surge when used to blast a bunch of baddies with Burning Hands is jaw-dropping. It grants +3 to all attack rolls! For a controller that's a real boost to fire power.

I've always liked pretty much all races I've seen (I felt drow were lame and gnomes should be banished to the garden). I'm hoping that the new fluff will change my opinion on gnomosexuals.
