Problem 4--There is only that other guy that knows what she can do, but he has no physical hard proof to show otherwise.
Problem 5--Everyone there at that time, can be suspect, if it came down to it.

Either was I, the majority that witness it, just saw a head explode, that other guy knows what happen. Will he be the one to talk about it, knowing full well now that she has demonstrated a actual death of her abilities...when earlier during the training session in the pool hall, where he egged her on, she literally bitched at him for making her almost going there. It has determined mostly she get stronger on a emotional scale, and the one time it did work without the upsetting bent.

The consequences she has to live with, and she knows already... she can't afford to be angry every time and she did try to make that calmness work, but the diary situation was just too much. Going forward whoever that Shadow person is, will determine to how she can hold on to her humanity through the suffering, she has indirectly unleashed in her town. I actually do feel sorry for her, cause she did try to remain calm when she finally got the hang of it, to only to see it later get shattered and she had no backup.

And if you do go to the comic shop, don't pick up the graphic novel.

And if you do pick up the graphic novel, don't read the last few pages.

And if you do read the last few pages, then you're probably the same sort of person who would read...

and you would find out she blows her brains out with a gun.

The TV show may take a different approach.

The scene that ends the first season seems to take place around 2/3 of the way through the graphic novel.
