I am officially a wimp

I can't do it!!! I tried, I honestly did, but I just can't do it!!!
I got through about a half-hour of The Ring, and it scared me so much I had to turn it off. I was watching it in the dark too, so that probably didn't help much. But I give you all leave to make fun of me now.:(

I just saw it last night for the first time.

It was kinda freaky, but I liked it. Try to get through it, and keep reminding yourself that it's just a movie!

EDIT: You're not a wimp, BTW. I had my fiancee there with me. :)

I was so scared, that I had to call my friend just to hear another humans voice. She, of coarse, laughed her head off at me.
In fact, the next day, she came up behind me and whispered in my ear, "you have seven days..."
I only admitted how funny the joke was after I had turned around and smacked her.:D

You have now ensured that I will not see this movie for a looong time. I'm the exact same way. I barely made it through Signs, and that was only because it was daytime when I watched it. Even then, I had to stop it at one point and make sure the house WAS empty.:D

I watched Signs with the same friend who played the trick on me.
When she invited me over to watch it, she failed to tell me that she lived next to a cornfield.

It is quite scary. The director does a good job building up suspense.
After watching the trailer for Lucky McKee's May, I can safely say I'll stay out of the theaters for this one.

Ooh, fun. Stories like these make me sort of glad I don't have friends.:) Apart from being scary, what did you think of the movie?
