I challenge you

Well if your looking for the spelling of the band it is Nickelback. The fact that you attempted to correct incorrectly is amusing enough though.

I wasn't trying to correct anybody... I was just curious whether or not we were required to include that particular band in amongst all this extensive kindness.

Pbart must know how badly I spell ;)

FWIW- during my clinicals next week I will be giving a pint to the blood bank. Finding that giving my kindness to the strangers in my world is pretty limited (not getting out much if at all due to studies and child care). Still I did manage to take two parking lot bound shopping carts to the store front, gave one up to a guy that discovered all the carts he walked by in the parking lot was the entire store supply, and unload a shopping cart at the store. On the same trip I allowed a woman with a hand basket with three items go ahead of me. Its little gestures that make the world better. :)

Even giving blood has it's downside - unless it's a hospital, they simply turn around and sell it to one. Some of the money might go to help people - but then again, your blood might be paying for fancy office for some executive.

Aside from the fact that it's highly illegal and likely untrue (outside of the rare illegal practice I'm sure exists), I'm sure the person laying on the operating table 4 pints low will thank you for not padding someone's office.

It's the BLOOD that's helping people, that's why you give it.

And why do they suck? Granted, they're not N'Sync... ;)

Mostly because they are extremely unoriginal and cliche. Their songwriting is boring. I heard someone mix together two different Nickleback songs before over each other and they sounded exactly the same. Every song has virtually the same chord progression.

If you took everything I would consider to be lame in rock and put them together, you would get Nickleback. I also find Chad's voice extremely annoying.
