I died. Part 3..... :(

They may not be balanced. I'm not sure how well an 11th level bard would do up against an 11th level Cleric to begin with. But the Bard Satyr will have some pretty strong Perform checks for the Cleric to save against, and although I admit the Satyr has lower hit points, the DR he has is going to be pretty strong against physical blows.

And I don't see how the saves are worse - a 4th level Bard Satyr has a 3 / 9 / 9 for saves (including the +2 he gets for Dex, Con, and Wisdom), and an 11th level Cleric has 7 / 3 / 7 for saves.

I'm just saying, if your problem is survivability, and your party is 3 humans, a dwarf, and a tiefling, you might want to think about trying something more basic. I find I have more luck with high ECL races if the whole party is composed of freaks.

He didn't seem to know anything about a satyr, aside form the stats, so he's not picking it for RP reasons (that I can see).

I'm just saying, if I was a DM, and I played my NPCs with any sort of sentience, they would nuke the goat legged boy before they even looked at the rest of the party, despite the satyr not really presenting the greatest threat. Look at that one, he's obviously the leader. If you are wasting a goblinoid encampment, and you see an ogre, you're going to think he's in charge and focus your attacks on him, even if he's not the most powerful character metagame.

But I'm not the DM, you can tell because it's an evil campaign. :)

Yes, I'm not picking it for RP reasons. And the reason I picked a satyr is because I've haven't played anything that had racial hit points, and because it'll make everyone I play with suspisious to what my plans are. I know my DM looks at ENWorld once a week to once a month, but I'm not sure about the others. If I was going with the what I said earlier, going straight into assassin, thay'd predict that and will try to find a way to foil my ideas. That leaves the prestige classes that involve shadows, something that makes plants grow, and dancing. Of course, I am going to pick up a few core levels before that.

PS: The leader is the tiefling wizard, and his meat-shield is the dwarf. The rest, well, we just do as we're told.... for now.
